builders-mutual.gifThe North Carolina Home Builders Association provides workers' compensation to eligible MCHBA members through Builders Mutual Insurance Company (BMIC). Their WorkSafe Workers' Comp is known as the industry standard and offers features such as job site evaluations to help prevent workplace accidents and injuries. BMIC experts help you create the safest working environment possible and offer ongoing education and training through Builders University classes.

21st Century Building Expo & ConferenceThe North Carolina Builder Institute is the educational arm for the NCHBA. The Institute provides year-round classes for members. In addition, the annual 21st Century Building Expo & Conference offers opportunity to see new and innovative products for housing and to attend educational seminars. Seminars highlight a wide range of topics which would appeal to the builder, associate, remodeler, and the sales and marketing professional.

Our local Membership Directory is published annually for members to use as a marketing tool.  It includes a list of builders, associates, & affiliate members. We also feature a bi-monthly supplement in the Pinehurst Magazine which is designed to educate the community on issues that affect the industry.  We encourage members to submit articles for this publication and for our monthly newsletter.
  • Promotion - Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available to members to promote your products and services. Advertising is available in the monthly newsletter, Membership Directory, Home & Garden Expo Directory and in the Parade of Homes magazine. Increasing your exposure and providing your support for our industry through sponsorship opportunities at membership meetings, special events, annual golf tournament and awards programs gets you noticed!
  • Insurance Programs - Members of the HBA are eligible to get commercial and workers compensation insurance through Builders Mutual Insurance Company, a full service mutual insurance company whose policyholders must be members of NCHBA.
  • Logos - Set your company apart by using the MCHBA, NCHBA, & NAHB logos on all your business materials.
  • Mailing Information - Members can also obtain mailing labels of HBA members for a nominal fee or an electronic list at no charge.
