Home of the Year & Excellence in Remodeling Winners to be posted soon
The Home of the Year Committee has been working hard, and we are pleased to unveil the Home of the Year program with a fresh new face! Check out the new judging guidelines, new entry requirements and more! Register your entry by September 14th and save $100!

For more that two decades, the Moore County Home Builders Association (MCHBA) has been calling attention to the best builders in the Sandhills via its Home of the Year Contest. Builders submit candidate home in categories based on the homes' prices, and the homes are judged by a panel of industry experts - builders, realtors, architects, designers, etc. - from across the Carolinas.
In 2008 judges toured the homes and scores were high this year, with one entry scoring a perfect 50 out of 50 possible points. Take a closer look at the 2008 Home of the Year award winners, and you'll know why...
